Replacement right damper assembly was of good quality but needed a bit of modification when mounting the top half of the cast aluminum heat chamber to the bottom half. The new top unit mounting screw 'ears' did not align with the two screw holes. I reamed each ear out with an appropriately sized drill bit in a drill press. Probably could do same with regular drill if you are careful. This machine is a quality piece of hardware. With some not surprising maintenance over the years I have been roasting some prettty good coffee for about 10 years and the machine was used when it was given to me. It does a good job.
Right damper assembly failed when intregal screws worked loose over years of use. They cannot be retightened and eventually catch on the upper heat chamber.
