Installation was easy after getting the cover removed. I used to reach 482 degrees when I first got my Gene Cafe but I still cannot get more than 451 degrees now and it takes about 15 mins to do that…..without beans. After adding beans it’s about 20 mins to heat back up and get to first crack. So maybe it’s something else wrong besides my heating element. I am basically baking my beans instead of roasting them. It’s not good. So I can’t really say if this heating element is working properly or maybe I have something else wrong. I’m open for suggestions.

I appreciate that I was able to fix my roaster! Not too many companies offer videos as well as parts. Thanks Gene Cafe!

Your customer service response is lacking, automated messages don't help when you don't respond. Thanks

Just Like New

After 2 years of (over) use, my original heater assembly failed. This replacement has made my roaster work just like new.

I am all thumbs and it took a couple hours to install. The two bearings kept falling off, over and over. Finally got it and the machine performs like new.
