CBR-101 ROAST CHAMBER

$ 69.00

High temp plastic and pyrex roasting chamber. (Chamber stand sold separately.)

Please note the design of the inlet end, which has ridges cut into both sides of the bottom. Early versions of the CBR-101 will not take this style chamber.  In order to replace the chamber, the inlet damper would need to be replaced as well.

Brand spanking new!

I purchased this new roasting chamber to have a backup in case I drop/crack my other one. Kinda like a spare tire, I guess. The original one I own is still working just fine. Just some dark brown coffee oil stains on one side of the inside glass.

Cleaning desposits from the roast chamber

After a few years I've found that using rifle bore cleaning solvent effectively removes the residue which accumulates on the wall of the roast chamber. Just wash the interior with detergent after using...
Don't know why the manufacturer doesn't suggest this.

Brand new Roast Chamber?

I’m happy with the behavior of the roast chamber, but it has dark stains and deposits in a couple of places, which I couldn’t easily scrape off (I didn’t want to damage it, I wanted to USE it!). I’ll try to attach photos, but I’m not sure that’s possible in a review like this. I just hope you (the importer) will give me advice on how to fix this, or correct the problem some other way.
P.S. As expected, I couldn’t attach the photos!

Time to replace

It’s time to replace when the roast chamber is permanently darkened from many, many batches that went a little too long! And the flapping door kept breaking with only one connection. I fixed the old one with some copper wire, but really, the best thing was to replace it and now it looks great and does what it is supposed to do.
