CBR-101 MOTOR GEAR
$ 4.50
Replacement motor gear for the Gene Cafe CBR-101.
Fast delivery, fit perfectly and working well!
I have a 2007 Geni CBR 101. Stopped using it back then after the left side cover seemed to melt at the end and the unit froze. Years later (18) I finally took it out and saw the code. Took the roaster apart and found a split gear. I ignored the code and ordered the cover and gear. The new gear had a ring around it reinforcing the gear, better than the old. It was a very tight fit, so had to tap it in place. The roaster is back in action!
Original cracked when I hadn't locked the tumbler I n and it's handle caught on the edge of the roaster. Roaster had a thump noise when it hit the cracked area. Relatively easy to install but had no directions. Works like new.
The original gear cracked (over ten years old) when I ran the machine with the roast chamber seated improperly and jammed it up. This gear replaced the original just fine. Note: Mine was hard to slide on to the motor shaft- super tight and I had to careful not to crack it while applying so much force.
I was in a hurry and neglected to put the drum all the way down so when i started to roast and the drum turned got caught on the shroud and stopped the drum from turning. Fear went through my mind as i was trying determine what had broken. I figured it was one of many places where the gears were pulling together. After opening up the works to my relief is was the drive gear on the motor. This gave me an opportunity to order a new power cord which checked and a new drum. Unfortunately, i did not replace the protector on the left side properly and stick out just enough to let the drum catch it. All works fine now without it now but I intend to replace it.
