CBR-101 LEFT DAMPER ASSEMBLY (OUT)
$ 39.00
Left outlet damper for the Gene Cafe CBR-101.
Easy to install,no more chaffs all over the place. They shipped an had it in a few days
I replaced the original 2012 Left Damper, which was sticking, and silicone spray did not help. Rotation was impeded I'm sure. I am really happy that it includes a new outlet temp probe, as mine was also original, and pretty well coated with roasting residues. Wow! Changing these definitely makes an improvement. I have no more temp / thermostat issues (heater cycling on/off at temps less than set, and then kicking in to continue rise), and I confirm that my roasting is much improved. And of course, the coffee really does taste so much better!
Fit perfectly - no fiddling with anything. The chaff collection chamber was a little tight to slip in, but I heated to 150F, then cooled down and it slipped right in. And now in/out is easy.
The part installed easily. I bought it for the sensor, which was out of stock for months. Unfortunately, it didn't fix the issue I had with the roaster. It would be nice if there was better technical support for a machine that costs several hundred dollars.
