Best part was customer service.(exceptional)
New circuit board / old machine.
New board has safety features added, first two making unattended roasting a thing of the past.
The third feature / annoyance is the cooling feature, whereas you can't pull the roast until the unit has reached a cooling temperature of 225 degrees, or thereaboiuts. God only knows what bureaucrat imposed that feature but it's the reason for the less than stellar rating.
Anyway converting from old cb to new cb was not exactly straightforward, but successful after all. New transformer was necessary, perhaps a new fuse block,rewiring / rerouting the power wires inside. Sort of a new machine afterwards, it eliminates the rear circuit board that was the landing pas for the heater and power connections, hence the rewiring scenario.The transformer mounting wings do not match but will mount securely enough with one screw.
All in all, back in business, again customer service was exceptional.
