Is Your New Roaster Not Heating Past 400?
CBR-101 Roasters manufactured after August 01, 2019 have included an unattended safety switch feature, that requires users to acknowledge they are present. This was necessary to improve user compliance with safe use practices.
There is an audible alarm at two set points, 392F and 446F. The user must acknowledge the alarm by pressing the TIME button once, to continue the roast. If the TIME button is not pressed during the alarm, the roaster will automatically enter a cool down.
Older version boards may not be purchased, and you may not bypass this feature.
