The swing arm blade in our CBR-101 failed when its lower pivot hole wore through. The hole appeared to be drilled a bit too close to the edge resulting in early failure. Gene Cafe agreed, and even though the unit was out of warrantee by 7 months, they kindly replaced the part and charged postage only. The blade comes without replacement swing rings, but the old ones were still in good condition. It is a delicate job to get the swing rings threaded into the pivot holes and not stress them! I accomplished this using a hobby vice to stabilize the assembly and fine needle nose pliers and a jeweler's screwdriver to open the swing ring coils just enough to thread it through the pivot hole. Patience required!
