CBR-101 CHAFF COLLECTOR

Having had a small fire in the original chaff collector, due to my error of not emptying it after multiple roasting runs. I ordered this replacement. It arrived in a surprising few days and was in every way a duplicate, exactly fitting the exhaust port of the Gene Cafe.

A perfect fit to replace my old collector. Arrived quickly and I’m very pleased with the service.

Although this took 5 months due to staff changes, I'm happy with the results the new part works well

Make sure you deep clean your chaff collector fairly often - at least a couple times a year.

Over a period of years, mine accumulated a considerable amount of oils and caught fire a few weeks ago. The cool down cycle created a blast of flame about 2 feet long!

I pulled the plug and then used some water to put out the rest of the sputtering flame.

Folks, this is another good reason NOT to point the collector output at a wall or other surface that can catch fire.

I purchased a new collector to make sure that the roaster could breath out and it's working fine now.

The roaster is a CHAMP. It's been reliably roasting my daily coffee for years.

Probably had this roaster for 8 or 9 years. Best product ever had. Replacement parts readily available.
